Bryan Randolph LICSW, Growing Roots director of training and development, recently spoke as part of panel discussion for a parent workshop at the Holderness Central School.

This workshop was for parents of new middle school students and focused on adolescent development. Bryan provided a clinical perspective on what parents/guardians can expect during their child's middle school years.

Bryan focused on expected developmental challenges/behaviors vs pathological behaviors and when to seek outside help. Bryan also discussed the challenges of parenting in the digital age and spoke about strategies for managing technology and social media use and ways to set effective boundaries and expectations.

There are plans to have more of these types of presentations. If you are interested in joining, please reach out to Bryan via email or sign up for our newsletter to stay connected.
